Adam Nichols brings over 30 years of finance, accounting and corporate operations experience to the company.
Adam began his career as a Financial Analyst with Conoco, a Fortune 50 company in the oil and gas industry as a recruit from New Mexico State University. After five years of increasing responsibility, he transferred to the parent company, DuPont, as a Senior Internal Auditor responsible for financial, technology and operational audits.
Following Telecom deregulation resulting from the 1996 Telecommunications Act, Adam joined a fast-growing regional competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) as Finance Manager. During his tenure, Adam held a variety of finance roles within the operating divisions and later as Director of FP&A at the corporate headquarters. He led a structured finance department responsible for maximizing the tax benefit of capital expenditures and was instrumental in the development of a data model to capture, analyze, and report the company’s revenue.
In 2009, Adam joined a FinTech company in the residential real estate services industry as Chief Financial Officer. Initially he was responsible for building a professional and scalable accounting and finance organization, leveraging process design and automation to support rapid growth. Adam led the financial process to raise private equity capital for a successful exit of the existing family office and participated in multiple successful M&A transactions. In addition to the role of CFO, Adam spent 5 years as Chief Administrative Officer, responsible for the company’s legal, human resources, risk management and data analytics departments.
As Chief Financial Officer at PA Options for Wellness, Adam is responsible for implementing and maintaining financial controls, sound accounting practices, tax strategy, business planning and risk management. A priority is building scalable processes and systems to support the strategic plan and ensure management has the resources and information to make informed business decisions. In addition, Adam provides strategic guidance and support to the management team and leadership across the enterprise.
Adam has a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance from New Mexico State University.
